Dr. Irfan Atcha is an experienced implant dentist and implantologist who has served patients in the Chicago area since 1996. As CEO and a dental implant specialist, his career has centered on helping individuals with complex dental needs restore missing teeth and pursue comprehensive oral rehabilitation through implant dentistry. His professional interests include dental implants, same-day dental implant treatment, long-term implant success, and advanced approaches to replacing missing teeth.

Growing up in Chicago, Dr. Atcha was surrounded by mentors in medicine and dental medicine. Their influence helped shape his interest in healthcare and his desire to pursue a profession focused on helping others. He began his formal education at the University of Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1991. He continued at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996.

Dr. Atcha has continued developing his expertise in implant dentistry throughout his career. His credentials include Fellowship and Diplomate distinctions from professional organizations in oral implantology. His background in biochemistry has also been part of his professional development; while attending dental school, he earned first place for a table clinic presentation involving biochemistry research. He later received another first-place table clinic award at an international dental implant meeting.

For nearly 30 years, Dr. Atcha’s work has focused on serving patients throughout Chicagoland who require dental rehabilitation involving implants. His approach reflects an interest not only in replacing missing teeth but also in understanding the factors that contribute to successful, lasting implant treatment.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Atcha enjoys running, fitness, and travel. His philanthropic interests have included supporting Susan G. Komen and Room to Read. He has also received professional recognition that includes inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who and other media features.
